  • This class will explore the building blocks of the earth — matter, energy, and how substances interact.  We will engage in hands-on experiments, read meaningful literature, hold discussions, examine ethics and connect faith with science. Core topics include atomic structure, chemical reactions, bonding, and the periodic table.  We will discover how principles of chemistry explain the intricate design of life.  The goal of this course is to inspire us to see chemistry not just as an academic subject, but as a lens through which to better understand the divine order and purpose of creation.
